The SAWTOOTH CYCLE CHALLENGE, sawtoothcyclechallenge.blogspot.com , is celebrating it's emerging relationship with St. Luke's Health Systems by donating a beanie baby, for every July registration, to the St. Luke's Children's Hospital. For every person who registers for the SCC during the month of July, the SCC will donate a beanie baby to St. Luke's. Now each person registering for the SCC will not only help in the fight against blood cancers but will also bring a little love and cheer to babies in need of special care and attention. Why not join us today? Help us save lives a mile at a time and bring some cheer and warmth to some of our most precious resources.

To register for one of our rides go to either

Sawtoothcyclechallenge.blogspot.com

and follow the links or go directly to our registration site

The SAWTOOTH CYCLE CHALLENGE is an Idaho registered non-profit road bicycling event developed to raise money and awareness of the fight against blood cancers. In 2008 there were more than 44,000 people diagnosed with a blood cancer. There were over 21,000 people who died from their blood cancer. Researchers are getting closer to a cure every day. We need your help.

Our signature event will be held October 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the rugged beauty of Sun Valley, Idaho. The weekend begins on Friday evening with a motivational dinner and presentation by Idaho's own Olympic Champion KRISTIN ARMSTRONG. This will be Kristin's first public appearance following her participation in the 2009 World Games.

On Saturday there are 4 great road rides to choose from for riders of all ages and abilities:

-a 150 mile EXTREME RIDE starting in Idaho City and winding up highway 21 to 75 to Sun Valley

- a 100 mile century ride from Sun Valley over Galena Summit and back

- a 65 mile metric ride from Sun Valley over Galena Summit and back

- a 35 mile fun ride to the top of Galena Summit with a free bus ride back to Sun Valley

All riders will then celebrate their participation at BIKETOBERFEST! (free admission for each rider) a fun filled food and music fest.

On Sunday riders will have the chance to take a relaxing recovery ride.

All registered riders will also have complete access to the WOOD RIVER YMCA at no extra charge!

With benefits like this what are you waiting for? Join us today!

To all the cycling fans of the Twilight Crit. I do not need to tell you how challenging the times are for raising money. If you want to see the high caliber of racers continue to come to Boise we need to step up and help the race. Please become a Friend of the Twilight Crit. We will have a private party area with refreshments for those wanting to become a friend. The fee starts at $75.00.

Thanks
