I ride my bike. Sometimes I like to ride it with other people that like their bikes, too. I'm an early ed teacher. I'm pretty friendly, even if I'm too lazy to show it off here.
I have always like my specialized shoes and I know that SIDI makes exemplary shoes (those are the ones I am going to get next). If I were you I would go try on shoes at some bike shops. Find out which ones fit because some are narrower and some are more broad. Then once you figured out size and which ones you like, then order them off the internet. You will also have to decide if you want road or mountain bike shoes. Probably for your first set of shoes I would get mnt bike ones just because they are more versitil. (you can walk easier in them and you can use them for mnt biking too) Then you have to decide which pedals to get. When you got try on shoes ask the guys what kind of pedals that they like. I have only used the SPD (specialized) pedals for mnt bike shoes, as has Matt and a few other people I know, and I have never had problems with them. They are responsably priced. Hopefully that is helfull.
Did it just go out of true or did you run it into a pot hole or something? A new rim would be a good thing. They always have the 100% satisfaction guaranteed...
